The Catalogue supports both natural capital accounting and natural capital assessment and can be applied to any type of natural capital, by any type of organisation.

Natural Capital Accounting

Typical users are organisations that directly or indirectly (e.g. supply chain or customers) own or manage natural assets (e.g. land managers, conservation groups, mining sector, agricultural sector, corporations, finance and investment, government etc.). Users can identify consistent metrics, methods and data sources that measure the state of natural assets, and the flows of benefits derived from those assets.
