Data on harvested quantities of various Australian non-wood forest products are available at the latest version of Australia’s State of the Forests Report (e.g. see Australia’s State of the Forests Report 2018 – Criterion 6: Maintenance and enhancement of long-term multiple socioeconomic benefits to meet the needs of societies).

Notes

Examples given in the SEEA-CF in this category include hunting of kangaroos for meat and harvesting of wild berries, fungi, fruits etc. In principle, individual biological assets such as significant trees could be included here as well.

Biological assets which are significant for cultural reasons could potentially be recorded as a separate biological asset type, distinct from non-culturally significant assets of the same biological asset type (if applicable).
